Our skilled engineering team is nearing the completion of the initial phase of an exciting Direct Air Capture (DAC) electrical installation and control system project for a partner in Norfolk.

Project Highlights:

  • Objective: The DAC system will extract carbon dioxide (CO2) directly from the atmosphere for use in the partner’s processes.
  • Impact: This system aims to deliver experimental outcomes that could significantly contribute to reducing climate change and achieving net-zero emissions.
  • Technology: We have supplied and configured a Siemens SIMATIC S7-1500 PLC along with a WinCC Unified SCADA solution.
  • Installation:  Our team has managed the supply and installation of all cabling, control panels, and junction boxes.
  • Commissioning: The engineering team are in currently proving the functionality of the system and are on track to ensure the DAC system is fully operational for early April.

Adam Jarman, Operations Director outlined that “The team have been working very well with the client to offer guidance and ensure all the requirements are met.  The partner is very happy with the effort made by our team and are looking forward to getting the system fully operational.”

This is another great example of our team delivering excellent service to our partners.
